The award winning band has many accomplishments in the music world. Selected in 2007 & 2009 for Oklahoma Blues Society’s local International Blues Competition. They
represented Oklahoma in The Blues Foundation’s Memphis IBC contest.
In 2009 each club selected one band to compete in The Beale Street Blues Kings competition. The Dan Danger Band was selected out of 12 fabulous bands that played at the Superior Club. They competed at The New Daisy Theater on Beale Street. They did not win but felt it was an honor to be selected to compete. In 2008 they were selected by the readers of the OKC Gazette as best blues band in Oklahoma. They have played yearlyat the Bricktown Blues & BBQ Festivals in Bricktown, Oklahoma and have opened for many well known headliners in the music business which includes The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Charlie Mussellwhite and Walter Trout.
The band consists of Dan Danger, vocals and guitar, Kyle Ferguson, bass guitar,
Matt Hope on lead guitar, saxophone, flute and keyboards, Bobby Boisey on drums.
